What Should I Watch?

Published by J at 6:22 am under Movies Edit This

Despite my extensive knowledge of trivial pop culture and movie references, there is a long list of “classic” movies that I have never actually sat down and watched. So I’ve decided to rectify that and set up a Blockbuster Online account and start adding them to my queue. This way, I can watch them when I get a free moment and not have to worry about making the trip to the video store when those moments actually pop up.

First up on the list are “The Godfather” and “Network.” Both of which I’ve read about, and have seen clips of, but never watched the whole movie in one sitting. They’ll get here by Wednesday, and I might be able to watch at least one of them that afternoon with the rate I’ve been knocking out pages for the project. (Just don’t tell Jan.)

Besides those two, I currently have 56 other movies in the queue, most of which I pulled from the AFI Top 10/100 lists. A few of them I do remember seeing, but it’s been so long that I need a refresher. And I’ll probably start adding TV series to the list as they become available. I missed quite a few last year that I need to catch up on.

So… what movies do you, the readers, think are “classics” that I should add to the list?
